Apollo is the creation of world famous clarinetist Lefteris Bournias with the goal of serving the Greek- American Community with quality, traditional, and modern Greek music as well as American music. The Orchestra has over 13 years of experience in the musical entertainment industry and every event (wedding, Christening, private party, festival, etc.) is a guaranteed success.

Our Orchestra will work closely with you and is committed to your satisfaction. Our goal is to provide unsurpassed musicianship and professional party coordination to make your affair a totally unique experience. We will work closely with your maitre’d throughout your event, while you sit back and enjoy knowing your musical needs are in the hands of professionals that take pride in making great music and people happy. Our Orchestra also includes an upgrade package that includes a DJ.

For all those couples that are not 100% Greek or are not marrying from the Greek culture, our Orchestra/DJ Package is the perfect solution for you. Our DJ will work closely to gather all your musical requests whether it be American, Italian, Latin, etc.

Anthi Agellou: Anthi is a fresh new face in the Greek American circuit. A all around musician , she has been studying piano since the age of 6 and has a BA in modern voice and classical piano from Adelphi University.Her voice is warm with a great projection captivating audiences in some of New Yorks finest Greek American venues such as Platos,Pearl,Ammos etc.,. She has joined Apollo for about 1 year now , bringing her wonderful stage theatrics and vast repertoire of Greek and American standards to the private venues .(mp3 COMING SOON)




George Koumniotis: George Koumniotis was born and raised in Astoria, New York , one of the largest Greek communities in the world outside of Greece,which gave George the drive to pursue his career in Greek music. During the early stages of his musical career , he performed at  many hot spots all over New York including Fantasia Night Club and Zodiac Bar/ Restaurant being his most notable and frquent gigs. In those years, he had the honor to work with many big names in Modern Greek music, including Kostas Bigalis and Zig Zag. Today he performs at Club Platos, Pearl, and Ammos restaurant in Manhattan adding his style to Greek music.(mp3 coming soon). ”

Kostas Fotiadis: A superb vocalist (one of the best singers I have ever heard) trained in many diverse styles of Greek traditional and Modern Greek music. He is also the bands bouzouki player. Kostas has been with me since the inception of Apollo and is a loyal friend and colleague. Thanks for the beautiful times and looking forward to many more. Hasapiko (Ela Na Me Teliosis)

Nikos Koutras: Niko is the band's guest lead singer and He is probably one of the best singers Greece has to offer.He has moved here recently from Greece were he was performing along with a many popular Greek singers (Karras V, Melas Z, Stanisi K, Valantis, Samprina, Kourkoulis N, Dionysiou Stratos, Floriniotis G, Konstantina, Antypas, Vanou Tzeni) were he picked up his versatile style.He also studied Vizantini and Dimotiki music. Unsurpassed in his style of Laika, Modern Greek, Dimotika(kalamatiana, tsamika, ipirotika, syrta) and nisiotika. (To be more satisfied, just hear the audio samples!!!). Hasapiko (Ah Koritsi Moy)
